Project Analyst

Job Purpose:
Provide job support and assistance to Project
Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluation of company
projects concept papers, and report to Project Manager initial
findings and conclusions. Also identify missing information in
proposed project papers.
- Contact sponsors of company projects
proposals and arrange for their meeting with Project Manager and self
to comprehensively discuss proposed project concept.
- Prepare evaluation of project concept in
line with the directives of Project Manager, and in the light of
company program guidelines and regulations, and provide
recommendations about project, and propose the value of company
project multiplier.
- Discuss and review with Project Manager the
prepared evaluation of project concept and recommendations, and agree
on final decision about project, and value of multiplier to be
specified to project.
- Conduct initial evaluation of company
projects business plans, and report to Project Manager initial
findings and conclusions, identify missing information in business
plans documents.
- Forward all information pertaining to
proposed company projects and official approval or rejection of such
projects to the Information Management Section.
- Evaluate Progress Reports pertaining to
company projects that are under implementation, and provide
recommendations to Project Manager.
- Assess the stages of implementation of
company projects by obligors, and determine the value of company
credits to be granted to obligors, following their completion of each
stage, and reporting results to Project Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering /
a degree in Business Administration
- 5 years experience in large-scale project
management including the entire project life-cycle
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Ability to assist in coordination of efforts
between various ongoing projects and new projects

Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise Parts Operation and Detroit Parts
& Power Plants (DPP) activities and responsible & accountable for P&L,
development & implementation of long range business forecasts and business

utilization and other objectives in key results areas.
The competent person has to:
- Monitor market trends, analyze market information and recommend sales and promotional
strategies accordingly.
- Ensure the development and implementation of 3-years long range forecasts and annual

- Defining critical success factors and quantified objectives, strategies & action
plans and contingency plan plan for parts operations & DPP.
- Maximize market penetration and share by adjusting marketing strategies according to
market trends and needs.
- Recommend sales promotion and sales campaigns to achieve improved results.
- Achieve and/or exceed budgeted annual retail sales targets of Parts operation and DPP.
- Securing quality customer service and satisfaction by all employees at all locations at
all time.
- Handle parts sales through 8 retail outlets, dealerships, government, wholesale, fleet
customers, co-ops, garages and body shops.
- Ensure forecasts developed for parts operation & DPP are accurate in terms of
quantity, quality and specification.
Requirments:
University degree. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical background will be an
advantage.
At least 10 years of experience in Auto Parts business in managerial position with
P&L accountability.
- Experience with GM, Opel and Daewoo auto parts is an advantage.
- You should have strong background of auto parts markets in GCC and outside the region
market.
- Must have a proven track record of achieving targets and leading multi-cultural teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Computer knowledge with Kerridge System is a must
- Very good command of English. Arabic language is an advantage.
- Age 40-50 years
